Mobile Phone Hoax Dear All We have been sent this warning from someone at work - you might find it useful! If you receive a phone call and your phone displays !!?UNAVAILABLE!? on the screen (for most of digital mobile phones with a function to display in-coming call telephone number), DON'T ANSWER THE CALL. END THE CALL IMMEDIATELY!! !!?UNAVAILABLE!? IF YOU ANSWER THE CALL, YOUR PHONE WILL BE INFECTED BY THIS VIRUS. This virus will erase all IMIE and IMSI information from both your phone and your SIM card which will make your phone unable to connect with the telephone network. You will have to buy a new phone. This information has been confirmed by both Motorola and Nokia. There are over 3 million mobile phone being infected by this virus in USA now. You can also check this news in CNN web site. Please forward this information to all your friends who have digital mobile phones.
Free flight Hoax
Subject: FREE flight I thought this was bollocks, but they got back to me within a week!!!!!!!! I contacted the London BA office - THIS IS REAL!!!!!! Due to the SARS and the recent war in Iraq, the number of passengers flying world-wide has fallen dramatically. We at British Airways have launched an international media campaign which aims to fill our aircraft once again. A part of this campaign is direct email advertising. This is where YOU come in! British Airways, along with Microsoft are tracking this email, and for every 5 people you forward this to, you will receive a flight to London return from any destination in the world (if your in the UK, you can fly to any Asian destination return). Send this email to 10 people and you are eligible to fly ANYWHERE in the world return to your departure point! Simple as that! However, that only catch is you MUST travel BEFORE 31st October 2003. You will be contacted via email within 5 working days for your full contact and booking details. Note: one flight per person only.
Disney HoaxHello Disney fans,
And thank you for signing up for Bill Gates' Beta
Email Tracking. My name is Walt Disney Jr.
Here at Disney we are working with Microsoft which has just
compiled an e-mail tracing program that tracks everyone
to whom this message is forwarded to. It does this
through an unique IP (Internet Protocol) address log book
database.
We are experimenting with this and need your help. Forward this
to everyone you know and if it reaches 13,000 people, 1,300 of the
people on the list will receive $5,000, and the rest will receive
a free trip for two to Disney World for one week during the summer
of 1999 at our expense. Enjoy.
Note: Duplicate entries will not be counted. You will
be notified by email with further instructions once this email
has reached 13,000 people.
Your friends,
Walt Disney Jr., Disney, Bill Gates
& The Microsoft Development Team.
